Before her | After her - Ginina
A new series we’re starting — sharing the stories of amazing her Elevated ladies and their personal words of how attending her Elevated has “elevated’ their lives…let’s start with Ginina..and we’ll follow up with Emily, her bestie, both of which have been to her Elevated for over a year now!

If I were to talk to my past self—even just a year ago—I don’t think I would even believe where I’m at today. I HATED working out, I had a real bad mindset around it. Working out was confusing, I never saw “results”, and to be frank, I had associated it with such harsh judgment from gym-bros. It was just an activity that I couldn’t buy into because I felt like there were so many blockers for me to be a part of that scene. It all just felt HARD.
But it hit me one day that I needed to take my health seriously—and I was in search of a place where I could at least get in at the bare minimum so I could walk up the stairs without breaking a sweat. My bestie (who challenges me in the very best way) made me try out a class at her Elevated a little over a year ago and I haven’t looked back since.
I knew it was going to take some work, I knew I was going to get stronger…eventually, I knew that it was going to take commitment. What I didn’t know was that I had the capacity to put in the work, I didn’t know that I would get stronger faster than I thought, I didn’t know that “commitment” would turn into my *priority*—
I didn’t know that my whole framework for working out would change my entire life for the better, and I mean this whole heartedly.
Now, I actually look forward to class—even when my body says I don’t want to. Let’s be real, everyone has those days, but I can tell you for fact, I ALWAYS come out of class feeling better than I did when I started. And this is not just how I feel physically, but mentally. Several times a week a group of *elevated* women (and theys!) come together and put their best effort forward who are nothing but supportive of one another. We challenge each other to be the version of ourselves that we want to be and we actually have a lot of fun doing it (so much so we have to separate ourselves to get through the class 😂). In the process of dedicating some time here, I’ve gained a fresh mindset that has seeped into every facet of my life and I notice that I’m becoming myself more and more every day. I have the confidence to do the hard things in life that I’ve been avoiding, I have the energy to pursue my goals, and I have the mental clarity to act. I CAN do everything I want to do, I CAN be the person I want to be, I DO HAVE the support system I need to help me get through it all.
her Elevated came into my life just when I needed it the most and it’s delivered more than I could have possibly even imagined—funny how much your life can change when you put yourself first.
